STAFF

Colette (Coco) Taylor is the Executive Production Director and the Director of Camp KidJam at The reThink Group. She was the Director of Family Ministry at North Point Community Church for 10 years. She oversaw all of the Grow Up conferences and played an integral part in developing all of the family ministry environments. Coco has two beautifully talented daughters; Kristi is 25 (and writing this biography) and Jessica who is 15. She lives in North Georgia with my dad... I mean, her husband, of 26 years and they're currently trying to remodel their house.

Susan Odom is an Assistant Director of Camp KidJam and she currently lives in Canton, GA with her 13-year-old Sheltie, Teddy. Susan graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Accounting. She has been volunteering with KidStuf since the beginning and now works for The reThink Group as Director of Accounting where she lives out her dream as a bean counter.

Kristi Taylor currently lives in Atlanta and works in the Marketing and Product Development Department of The reThink Group. She received her BA in Musical Theatre from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. While at Samford, Kristi worked with the Summer Theatre Camp for three years and had the opportunity to teach Creative Drama and perform several shows at some Birmingham city schools. Kristi hopes to go to graduate school in 2010 and earn her Master’s in Theatre for Young Audiences. And one last thing... GO DAWGS!!

Greg Payne aspires to be a fine woodworker, but realizes it would take more time, patience, and skill than he will ever possess. Fortunately, his roles as a writer/creator/product developer at The reThink Group, do not require him to measure, cut straight lines, or do much math. He is one of the original KidStuf actors but still prefers to not be called the “Worlds Oldest Gordo.” He was on staff at North Point Community Church for eight years in various creative capacities within Family Ministries. So far Greg has realized his dreams of becoming a husband to an incredible wife far above anything he’s ever deserved; a father of two girls who, despite his genetic contributions, are beautiful and wise; and a motorcycle owner (probably listed in that order).

Brandon O’Dell is a professional actor with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre from Shorter College. He has been performing as host of Kidstuf at Buckhead Church for four years, and he has worked freelance, writing Family Production scripts for two years before joining The reThink . You can see Brandon’s latest work in the Stephen King movie, “The Mist” which came out in November 2007.

Growing up with a pastor for a father, Wyndi Beck began volunteering with children at an early age. She has led children and students from birth through college. She is excited about the opportunity to create a more holistic approach to influencing families in her role as the Family Ministry Director of Watermarke Church in Kennesaw, Georgia. Wyndi has also helped train family ministry leaders internationally and serves on the creative team for Camp KidJam. In her spare time, she's trying to figure out how to add more hours to the day.

Hannah Joiner has been involved with The reThink Group since the beginning. She is basically the reason that Reggie knows anything about parenting and thinks she should get more credit. Hannah is currently a junior in college and has been involved with KidStuf dancers and singers since 1996. She is co-choreographer for 252 Basics and is on the music development team for Amber Sky Records.

Mike Sloop has an industrial engineering degree from Georgia Tech, a masters in environmental engineering from N.C. State, and teaching certificate from North Georgia College and State University. He has a passion for all things science and loves engaging kids with exciting, hands-on experiments that show how fun and cool science can be. Mike has taught 8th graders physical and earth science for the past six years in Cumming, Georgia, and was Forsyth County’s 2006 Teacher of the Year. Throughout the year he leads a small group of 10th graders at his local church and during the summers he navigates the experiment-laden waters of the MythBusters track at Camp KidJam.
