❊ FAQs

You’ve got questions,
we’ve got answers

  • Each day kicks off with our high-energy Jam Session—a time filled with music, laughter, and a powerful Bible story that sets the tone for the day. Campers then gather in small groups to dive deeper into what they’ve learned, connecting faith to real life through conversation and hands-on activities. From there, it’s all about big games, creative challenges, and plenty of active fun! We build in time for snacks, and meals, keeping the perfect balance between structure, play, and spiritual growth.

  • As camp approaches, we’ll send you a complete “What to Pack” list to make preparation a breeze. In the meantime, here are a few must-have basics to get your camper ready for all the fun! Campers should bring a backpack stocked with a water bottle, sunscreen, athletic shoes, and weather-ready clothes. If your child takes medication, please include it so they’re ready for every adventure ahead!

  • Medical forms can be submitted via our online registration portal or emailed directly to [camp email address]. All forms must be submitted before the first day of camp.

  • A licensed EMT, Nurse, or Nurse Practioner is on-site at each location. Our staff is certified in CPR and first aid, and we maintain a low camper-to-leader ratio for close supervision. We also follow safety protocols for heat, hydration, and equipment use. Allergies and medical needs are documented and closely monitored. Each location also provides security on-site.

  • Your child’s safety and comfort always come first. In the event of rain or extreme heat, Camp KidJam has indoor facilities, alternate activities, and detailed inclement weather protocols in place to ensure every camper stays safe and still has an amazing day.

  • Yes! Our on-site CKJ store is packed with all your camper’s favorite swag—think t-shirts, water bottles, beach balls, and so much more! We suggest sending your camper with up to $30 so they can pick out the treasures they love most.

  • To keep everyone safe and supported, we require one leader for every seven campers (1:7 ratio). That means for every seven boys, you’ll need a male leader, and for every seven girls, a female leader.

Housing: Most of our rooms are dorm-style suites accommodating two campers or two leaders per room. Please note: we cannot allow a single leader to room with a camper, so plan your group arrangements accordingly.

Important: Boy campers cannot attend without a male leader, and girl campers cannot attend without a female leader. These policies are in place to ensure safety and comfort for everyone.

  • Leaders attend camp at the same cost as campers and enjoy all the same fun activities—from games to worship to creative sessions. The only exception is Tracks/Squad Showdown: during that time, our staff and interns guide the campers, while leaders attend Leader Training to equip them for an even better camp experience.

  • Yes, of course! To arrange a room for your bus driver and get pricing, please email us at info@campkidjam.com

  • For the safety and security of all campers, parents are not allowed to visit during camp. With many campers and staff on-site, limiting visitors helps us ensure that everyone is safe and accounted for. We cannot make exceptions, and we appreciate your understanding in keeping your child’s experience fun and secure.

  • Please provide the parents of your students with your cell phone number. This allows them to contact their child through you or another leader from your church. Another tip is to have your parents write notes to their child before camp and have you deliver it to them on-site. Please note that Camp KidJam and the campus locations are not responsible for facilitating parent-to-camper communication.

“Camp KidJam is the highlight of our ministry year. Our kids count down for months, and every summer they come home knowing how big God is and how much Jesus loves them.”
